Organized by Ludlow 38’s 2017 curatorial resident Saim Demircan and Director and Curator of 80WSE Nicola Lees, 2000s Re-enactments is a one-night public event interspersed with performances by Matthew Linde, and live music by Steven Warwick.
Linde, curator of The Overworked Body: An Anthology of 2000s Dress, will perform bootlegged versions of key runway performances from the 2000s by designers BLESS, Hussein Chalayan, Imitation of Christ, Alexander McQueen, Gareth Pugh, and Viktor & Rolf, with Berlin-based artist and musician Warwick providing musical accompaniment.
